Counter Sales Representative (Asia and China)

Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in planning and booking their dream vacations in Asia and China. Act as a knowledgeable resource for customers, offering recommendations and suggestions based on their preferences and interests in these regions. Process bookings and handle payments in an accurate and timely manner. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of popular destinations, attractions, cultural highlights, and travel logistics in Asia and China. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions, providing detailed information about itineraries, visa requirements, and other travel-related queries. Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales targets and meet customer satisfaction goals. Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' offerings in Asia and China to effectively communicate value propositions to customers. Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and find suitable resolutions. Assist with administrative tasks, such as maintaining customer records and generating reports specific to Asia and China.

Requirements:
F5/DSE/Diploma in Travel or Tourism or related discipline and above. Minimum 2 years in sales or customer service role , preferably in the travel industry, with a specialization in Asia and China. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in MS Office application and Chinese word processing. Sound knowledge of GDS reservation systems such as Amadeus is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers from different cultural backgrounds. Proactive, flexible, good communication skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. In-depth knowledge of popular destinations, attractions, cultural nuances, and travel logistics in Asia and China. Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
