Senior Blockchain Security Specialist

Job Description

The Cybersecurity and Data Privacy team reports directly to the office of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) headed by Jason Lau, a seasoned cybersecurity professional with 23+ years of experience, awarded Global Top 100 CISO, and serving on the World Economic Forum, International Association of Privacy Professionals, and more. The team comprises multiple functions, including Blockchain Security, Operational Security, Security Governance, and Compliance, driving a culture of growth mindset and humility to help everyone achieve their potential. Our security-first strategy, at the core of our company, has led to numerous certifications, including ISO27001, ISO27701, ISO22301, and PCI:DSS (Level 1), attested by international audit firm SGS, and achieving the highest level possible for the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework and the latest NIST Privacy Framework, as well as SOC2 and regional certifications like the Data Protection Trust Mark.

Responsibilities
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain front-end applications for a cross Web 2 and Web 3 project.
• Proficient hands-on experience in working with UX designers and back-end engineers to develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
• Understand and use Web 3.
• Develop a deep understanding of Blockchain technology, specifically public Blockchain.

Requirements
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or similar discipline.
• 6+ years of experience working with front-end technology, ideally designing, developing, and maintaining complex/large/growing front-end applications.
• Proficient in Typescript or similar front-end stack.
• Familiar with the JS ecosystem and well-versed with various front-end frameworks.
• Good understanding of state management, such as Redux/Mobx.
• Able to troubleshoot and debug issues, demonstrating a methodical approach to root cause analysis.
• Eager for constant learning from both success and failure, remaining open to change and continuous improvement.
• Enthusiastic about the future of Blockchain.
• Curious and comfortable with ambiguity.
