About The Opportunity

At BTSE Enterprise Solutions, Customer Success sits at the nexus of our sales, product, and marketing teams helping to drive company growth and define the future of digital finance. Just like Lego blocks, what our customers build with BTSE Enterprise Solutions is much more than the sum of its parts. The Technical Writer function is intended to help our customers build faster and better on the BTSE Exchange Infrastructure and Ecosystem. Your work will engage and inspire the future of global finance as developers rely on your output to build the next generation of crypto payments and trading platforms.

Responsibilities
• As Technical Writer, you’ll be the person responsible for making our Developer Experience first in class by creating and enhancing our API Product Documentation.
• Write new documentation such as user guides, FAQs, video tutorials, and technical support docs for key aspects of our open source software, including command line tools, API reference documents, and architecture documents
• Have an in-depth understanding of the product and what customers need to succeed
• Proactively identify gaps in the documentation or knowledge base articles
• Work with support engineers, product managers, and other subject matter experts in a collaborative editing environment
• Edit and review content created by others for technical accuracy and clarity
• Assist the marketing team in creating other resources and thought leadership including tear sheets, case studies, and white papers
• Provide feedback to the product team on how our products might be made easier to use

Requirements
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• 3+ years experience working on software documentation, ideally in the blockchain/crypto space
• Experience with Docs as Code workflow
• Experience with source code
• Previous work on open source projects
• Developer community experience and/or evangelism
• Great teaching skills that translate into amazing written work
• Experience using version control systems, like Git, or similar
• You thrive by building long-term relationships and partnering with a range of stakeholders including business, technical, and executive teams
• You are a resourceful and creative problem solver, never losing sight of the “why” behind the “what”
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical reasoning.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to think critically about data requests across the entire organization.
