Research Assistant with Graphic Design Expertise

Job Description:

The Department of Chinese Language and Literature at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is seeking a highly motivated Junior Research Assistant to support the delivery of Chinese language learning projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in project development, data analysis, website management, and promotional activities.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development of projects and initiatives related to Chinese language learning.
• Provide support in developing digital marketing strategies and creating publicity materials.
• Analyze data to inform project decisions and evaluate outcomes.
• Manage websites and social media platforms for the department.
• Assist in promotional activities, language learning events, and academic conferences.

Requirements:
• A Higher Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or above in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in graphic design, editing, and computer applications, including websites and social media design.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as a team member with a strong team spirit and self-motivation.

Appointment Terms:

Appointment will be initially made on a contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
