System Administrator – Infrastructure (Linux & AIX)

Responsibilities:
Support IT administration, maintenance and implementation tasks on IT System Infrastructure.

Technical support of AIX and Linux of the bank

Plan, develop, implement, maintain and support hardware, software and technology solutions in relation to corporate, departmental, data centre services for the bank

Perform Linux system administration including system setup and backup, software installation, patch upgrade, system monitoring and health checks.

Responsible for system troubleshooting and performance tuning.

Manage capacity monitoring on system and applications.

As a technical advisor for junior system administrator.

Requirements:
Degree or Diploma holder in Computer Science or related disciplines

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure designs, solution implementation and supports in an enterprise environment

Proficiency in administration on Linux, AIX, VMware, SAN Storage & various backup solutions.

Able to work independently and under pressure

Good communication and interpersonal skills
