Embedded Firmware Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced firmware engineer to join our team at GRE Alpha. As an embedded firmware engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and testing firmware for our LED power supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and firmware architecture
• Design, code, integrate, test, support, and enhance software solutions for embedded microprocessors
• Perform system integration and validation testing activities, including verification of interoperability within the overall solution
• Self-manage workload and priorities from a remote location, ensuring projects are on track and providing timely status updates to team members and management
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
• 5+ years of experience designing and coding embedded firmware
• Background in consumer or commercial electronic product development, including microprocessors, sensors, digital and analog circuits, and power supplies
• Ability to read and understand electrical circuit schematics
• Knowledge and understanding of electronic product manufacturing and factory programming/automation
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience with wired and wireless networking at the MAC level, including development, modification, tuning, and support of network stacks
• Non-RTOS based, low-level embedded and real-time control experience
• Experience in real-time control, including analog, digital interfaces, ADC, DAC, PWM, etc.
