Senior Application Support Specialist (Global Market/Banking)

As part of Keyrus’ solution delivery, we are also in a position to recruit and place technical consultants to complement on existing client projects with their expertise. As such, we seek innovative and agile people to support ambitious and forthcoming technological challenges.

In a challenging and multicultural environment, we are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer in Hong Kong for our client.

You will join the production support team for Global Market Sales & Research, providing functional and technical support for Cash Equity Sales and Research, while working with vendors and in-house systems.

The position

The role involves production support and business analysis, focusing on:
• Technical and functional support for systems like the Research Website and CRM.
• Collaboration with vendors and global teams for requirements delivery.
• Conducting QA and User Acceptance Testing, along with managing deployments.
• Analyzing business needs and providing solutions.
• Managing daily issues and user requests with timely resolution.
• Monitoring system performance for high availability.
• Coordinating with IT Security for platform maintenance.
• Following ITIL methodologies for incident and change management.
• Participating in support shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

The Requirement
• Degree in IT/Computer Science with 8+ years’ experience in software development and support
• Good command of English and Mandarin
• Process automation with Python and Shell scripting.
• Experience in web-based application, web analytics and data security
• Hands on experience on SQL.
• Hands on experiences on Excel / VBA and Java.
• Hands on experiences on Linux and Windows OS.
• Exposure to system monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Geneos
