Freelance Job: SEO work to increase website traffic

My current website has not been checked with regards to SEO. I get some traffic & sales but not as much as I should be. Te company sells crisps which is a difficult product to get onto the 1st page of Google however I would like to find a person or company who can raise the websites profile to improve the visibility of the site to consumers.
I am only looking for UK based responses.
