What You'll Do
• Develops and executes sales strategies and tactics that maximize Cisco opportunity within the customer environment.
• Along with sales planning, this position is responsible for accurate forecasting.
• Direct customer contact comprises a major portion of this role
• Presents and leads customer's in discussions to advance the sales process.
• Defines, communicates and implements the Go to Market strategy for allocated segment - ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded in marketplace.
• Builds executive relationships within the Customers portfolio - articulates Cisco product and business strategies, creates the demand and leads customer discussions to advance the sales process.
• Ensures a high degree of Customer satisfaction with Cisco products and services
• Disrupt & Innovate. Develops and delivers accurate revenue forecasts in line with business objectives. Interacts with other Cisco teams (PSS BDM, SE, AS, CA, Cisco Capital, Verticals), to effectively leverage the Cisco value proposition
• Applies knowledge/skill to a range of activities; acts as a source of expertise for others in assigned segments.
• Proactively acts to understand client needs and identity solutions to non-standard tasks.
• Actively creates business opportunities to build qualified funnel
• Works independently to meet agreed targets
• Develops sales plans for own accounts in line with company strategy,
• Influence management to achieve their sales goals
Who You'll Work With
The Sales Account Manager for Public Sector Vertical.
Account Manager team are in need of a highly motivated, entrepreneurial minded sales professional who can innovate and disrupt status quo with new mindsets to bring in new incremental revenue.
As Cisco Greater China continues to make new investments in smart city initiatives, this role works hand in hand with our corporate leads to define markets and business models that help our customer on their journey to digitize enterprises, government, and the city itself, this is a great opportunity to create a career path in Cisco and obtain experience in Public Sector accounts.
Who You Are
• BA / BS degree or equivalent
• 10+ years of successful sales experience
• Public sector, Public Enterprise, Public Utilities, or Healthcare Segment experience will be an asset.
• Experience in building sales propositions to clients
• Outstanding selling skills in a complex matrix environment - selling outcomes & experiences, also can talk to technical people.
• Excellent negotiation skills (commercial and technical)
• Influencing skills at all levels from the board room level to the buyer
• Identify solutions for their clients
• Relationship management skills
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
