Senior Software Quality Engineer (iOS)

This is a remote position.

Our client is looking for a seasoned quality engineer to test their "fan base" mobile application and platform service for our flagship hardware.

- Write iOS test automation using XCUItest (or Appium).

- Perform code coverage analysis.

- Perform testing iOS/iPadOS app manually when needed.

- Write and run test cases.

- Gather test results and summarize in to the report.

- Collaborate with other QA engineers, developers, project manager, product manager, XD/UX and other team members to execute projects.

Requirements

- 5+ years of formal software testing experience.

- Able to use
basic Japanese and well-versed in English

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

- Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDL).

- Ability to write test automation using XCUItext (or Appium).

- Ability to perform code coverage analysis using Xcode.

- Ability to collect logs from the device.

- Knowledge of iOS/iPadOS on Apple hardware.

- High level of communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to communicate in Japanese.

Nice to Have:

- Ability to code in Swift is desirable but not a requirement.

- Experience and knowledge of Firebase is definitely a plus, but not required.

- Experience and knowledge of Source Labs is definitely a plus, but not required.

- Experience and knowledge of AWS is definitely a plus, but not required.

- Security testing experience is definitely a plus, but not required.

- Ability to work with different time zones (Japan, India, US West Coast).
