Responsibilities:
• Develop and contribute to the sales and rate strategies and business pitches to improve the business of room sales, Food & Beverage, Spa and Events business in the Japanese Market. Solicits FIT bookings and ad-hoc leisure group leads from the leisure segment. Converts these leads into actual business and maximises revenue opportunities for the hotel, including revenue from conference/catering, Spa and F&B.
• Effectively manages the relationships of key stakeholders in the Travel Agent accounts. Maximises business opportunities for the hotel. Focuses on new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts.
• Plan and direct sales activities in Japan and report sales performance / opportunities / challenges to the Director of Sales.
• Builds and maintains excellent business relationships with our key accounts locally by paying regular sales visits to clients’ offices, providing business entertainment and making telephone calls on a regular basis.
Requirements:
• Degree Holder or equivalent education
• At least seven years of related work in Sales within an international hotel chain
• Fluent English and Japanese
• Competent knowledge of Microsoft Programs
