Senior Solution Architect (Global Enterprise)

Main Duties:
• Collaborate with Enterprise Solution Architects, Application Manager, and Solution Analysts to analyze business demands during the pre-prioritization phase. Tasks may encompass evaluating requirements, planning solutions, creating prototypes, and conducting impact analyses.
• Adopt a comprehensive view of package-based business solutions to ensure smooth integration with other application and infrastructure components.
• Collect, comprehend, and synthesize information from various sources like vendors, subject matter experts, systems, product managers, and business analysts to create accurate architectural diagrams or viewpoints.
• Engage closely with application and infrastructure project teams to develop high-level and conceptual designs for project delivery. This involves analyzing enterprise business context, specific project requirements, and leveraging all aspects of enterprise architecture.
• Evaluate and develop solution options based on business demands, Enterprise Architecture, and a balanced assessment of functional capabilities, non-functional capabilities, risk, cost, and benefits.
• Consult with Enterprise Architects and project teams to align systems or infrastructure with enterprise architecture, identifying and resolving conflicts when necessary.
• Ensure structured documentation of solution architecture work aligned with the EA framework. Encourage sharing of artifacts for reusability and establish application/infrastructure development and deployment standards and guidelines.
• Advocate for and enhance business and IT strategies, especially focusing on EA development and service delivery. Educate project team members, including business users, on the value of EA and the principles guiding technology decisions.
• Stay updated on the latest technology trends, explore new technologies proactively, and communicate the organization's stance on relevant emerging technologies. Adapt the EA to meet short-term and long-term requirements.
• Collaborate with the Technology & Architecture team to drive business and technology innovation in alignment with corporate strategic plans.
• Supervise junior Solution Architects in delivering cohesive solutions across multiple related projects.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on project solution architecture experience in large-scale strategic programs or projects.
• Exposure to diverse technologies and processing environments.
• Proficiency in cloud-based architecture and design frameworks.
• Practical experience or solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF.
• Capability to translate business requirements into solution architecture needs.
• Skill in defining multiple solution options for business challenges and understanding the disparities between enterprise and solution architecture.
• Understanding of various application development methodologies, SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, or client/server systems.
• Extensive knowledge of financial models and budgeting.
