Job Description
As an OAC Senior Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our organization's data warehouse infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in Oracle SQL, data warehousing, and OAC to deliver high-quality data solutions that drive informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data Warehouse Development:
o Design, develop, and optimize star schema-based data warehouse models.
o Ensure data integrity and consistency through robust data quality practices.
• Semantic Modeling:
o Create and manage semantic models to provide a unified view of our organization's data.
o Collaborate with business users to understand their data needs and translate them into effective semantic structures.
• Security Management:
o Implement and maintain robust security measures, including role-based access control and row-level security filters, to protect sensitive data.
• Data Integration:
o Work closely with ETL specialists to integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse.
o Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
• Reporting and Analysis:
o Collaborate with business users to understand their reporting requirements and develop customized reports and dashboards.
o Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL and data warehousing.
• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (star schema, snowflake).
• Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of security best practices for data warehouses.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
