Responsibilities:
Customer Environment Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of customers' IT environments and security control requirements to aid in the strategic planning, design, and implementation of tailored network security solutions, ensuring effective network defense.
Firewall Configuration: Configure and deploy Fortinet and/or Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs) while adhering to best practices for firewall policy implementation and security controls, to safeguard the network against potential threats.
Web Application Firewall (WAF) & Load Balancer Setup: Establish F5 solutions, encompassing Web Application Firewall (WAF), Local Traffic Manager (LTM), and Global Traffic Manager (GTM) functions, to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of essential network functions.
Security Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot security issues within customers' IT systems, providing expert recommendations for resolving vulnerabilities and improving overall security.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in network security and proactively seek opportunities to enhance and optimize network defense strategies.
Requirements:
Educational Background: A Higher Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline is required.
Professional Experience: You should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in managing F5, Fortinet, and Palo Alto systems, with a proven track record of successful deployments and network security management.
Technical Expertise: Your hands-on experience should encompass managing various network components, including firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), router switches, load balancers, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
Networking Knowledge: Demonstrate a strong understanding of LAN/WAN and core networking protocols, including routing protocols.
Enterprise Security: Previous experience in implementing and enhancing security measures in large enterprises to meet specific security requirements is a significant advantage.
Security Certifications: Hold relevant vendor certifications in the field of network security solutions, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to best practices.
