Job Description
Work collaboratively to support a variety of activities to ensure the integrity of company data and systems, security of confidential information, and protection of physical property.
Provide technical expertise in various network security products and countermeasure direction.
Install, manage, and maintain various network security products (appliances and software); troubleshoot network security issues and events.
Manage and support the log collection, security scanning, intrusion detection, content filtering, and other security-related systems
Provide support for log management and security information and event management (SIEM)
Provide installation, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of security applications and appliances across all functional departments
Manage solution development and deployment that adhere to best practices
Assist in the study of vendors and technology for network and desktop security to determine those which best meet the needs of company
Serve as an expert technical resource, to advise and assist in security issues
Collaborate with multiple cross-functional IT teams as well as non-IT business units as required
Occasional travel maybe required
Participate in various ad hoc assignments when necessary
Requirements:
University Degree, Technical Degree, or relevant work experience
6+ years of relevant IT experience, specifically security and networking
Bilingual: English & Mandarin
Prior experience in security design and analysis; defense in depth analysis; configuring and managing security devices, incident handling & response; troubleshooting security related issues
Hands-on experience with multiple security technologies such as antivirus software, intrusion detection, firewalls, and content filtering
Prior experience with secure software development, data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management (IAM), network security (VPNs) within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments
Working knowledge of incident management, case management and investigation practices
Previous experience with vendor management and coordinating vendor activities
Ability to perform technical analysis of complex software, systems, hardware, and network environments
Excellent facilitation, communication skills - ability to coordinate and develop messages outside the team
