Software Quality Assurance Tester

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Tester / Quality Assurance Engineer to play a crucial role in the ongoing development of our IT solutions, specifically focusing on the modernization of our custom in-house platform. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of robust, sustainable, and scalable solutions that align with our strategic objectives.

As part of the QA team, you will collaborate with IT professionals to ensure that our platforms meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Participate in the testing and quality assurance of both Front-end and Back-end software components.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure adherence to industry best practices and architectural principles.
• Identify and implement innovative automation solutions to improve testing efficiency in line with current technology trends.
• Collaborate effectively with Software Engineers, QA Engineers, UX Designers, and Business Analysts to understand requirements and deliver innovative, quality-focused solutions, and to validate both functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, stability, and security.
• Communicate QA decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a concise manner.
• Share technical expertise and best practices with team members to overcome challenges and improve QA processes.
• Provide proactive support to team members when needed and contribute to a collaborative work environment across onshore and offshore teams.

Qualifications & Experience
• 3+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance Engineering role, working with JavaScript/TypeScript or Java.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Manual Testing and Automation Testing using frameworks such as Robot Framework or Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies and experience writing advanced queries in Postgres, Oracle, and/or MariaDB.

Desirable Qualifications
• Understanding of security and performance testing methodologies.
• Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with automation tools and concepts such as Docker, CI/CD, and Jenkins.

Previous experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, XP, Lean, or Kanban)
