To join our growing team, we're seeking a skilled and passionate Backend Software Developer who will play a pivotal role in building the robust and scalable foundation of our platform.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services for our eCommerce platform.
Implement APIs that facilitate communication between the frontend and other systems.
Develop and maintain data models and databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Ensure data security and integrity, adhering to industry best practices.
Optimize and troubleshoot backend systems to ensure high performance and availability.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Participate in code reviews and unit testing to ensure code quality.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in backend development technologies.
Collaborate with frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Backend Software Developer or a related role.
Strong understanding of backend development principles and methodologies.
In-depth knowledge of backend development with Java.
Familiarity with relational databases (SQL) and non-relational databases (NoSQL) a plus.
Experience with API development and design principles.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or AliCloud preferred) a plus.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to community in Cantonese or Mandarin is a must.
