Responsibilities:
• Closely work with business analysts, product owners, and developers to gather and evaluate user requirements and comments and collaborate with design lead to come up with E2E user journeys and illustrations for our digital insurance and wellness platform; designs are expected to drive platform and customer success and in line with the business objectives and KPIs;
• Be responsible for providing high-quality deliverables, such as user journeys, user flows, wireframes, UI mock-ups, and prototypes for digital platforms and products while adhering with brand guideline to ensure consistency of brand style across all AXA collaterals, and be able to harmonise with overall websites and apps;
• Design graphics and content for our digital platform, e.g. sourcing images or creating illustrations from scratch; and
• Facilitate user research activities, such as market research, usability testing, stakeholder interviews, surveys, A/B testing to understand user behavior and translate research findings into possible solutions
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or above in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Interactive / Multimedia / Visual Design, or equivalent with 3 years above experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, or user interface designer for digital products or services;
• Experience working in banking, financial, or insurance industries using ‘Agile’ or similar project methodologies is highly preferred;
• Able to present design rationale or idea to stakeholders and make recommendations in accordance with feedback; and articulate clearly the thought process in user journey design, with market/ industry support and the pros and cons laid out for each option;
• Able to work independently and handle multiple initiatives at the same time while ensuring timely delivery of assigned tasks and take proactive measures to mitigate any potential delays or timeline impacts;
• Self-driven and demonstrate a growth-mindset towards industry development and new design trends, technologies, and tools to improve design skills; with strong team work to share design knowledge and expertise with other members, maintaining an open-minded, positive attitude
• Well-established knowledge of user-centered design (UCD), design language systems, visual design principles, and interaction design;
• Basic knowledge of user research methodologies, including stakeholder interviews, surveys, A/B testing, and usability testing;
• Basic knowledge of digital product information architecture;
• Proficiency with responsive design, web/ mobile design standards / frameworks (iOS, Android and Windows, MacOS);
• Proficiency in a variety of design and experience tools including but not limited to: Zeplin, Figma, Sketch, Miro, Google Analytics, Photoshop and Illustrator;
• Portfolio showcasing design skills and thought process to demonstrate design rationale, proven user-centered design (UCD) and conducting user research, usability testing and accessibility concerns etc;
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as UI/UX Design Analyst
