Key Responsibilities:
• Quickly grasp the essence and core concepts of the system functions and features to prepare business flows and test scenarios and other business documentations
• Review and analyze functional requirements for completeness, lack of ambiguity, and testability
• Prepare test strategies and test cases/plans to fulfill testing requirements, and execute related testing, including functional, regression, system integration, and ad hoc testing;
• Report, track and resolve any problems/issues during the testing process and prepare the defect/summary reports and verify any fixed issues;
• Responsible for the quality assurance of internal tests, User Acceptance Test (UAT), User Manual & User Training, Requirement Change Request and related items in all phases of system development life cycle;
• Continuously improve test efficiency and quality with new technologies and methodologies including the use of automation test scripts;
• Perform ad-hoc research & analysis and present results in a clear manner.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
• Degree holder in in Business Administration/Information Systems/Computer Sciences or related disciplines;
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in financial industry; good knowledge of financial services domain, knowledge of OTC trading would be a plus;
• Familiar with common software testing methods and tools;
• Good time management; self-motivated and well organized with the ability to work multitask and under pressure;
• Strong sense of responsibility and a good team player;
• Attention to details and meticulous thinking is needed to ensure the quality of work;
• Strong analytical skills and effective communication and presentation skills;
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
