System Analyst - Banking Process Automation

Overview

This is a reputable global bank in Hong Kong, known for its strong presence in corporate banking. They are now seeking a System Analyst with expertise handling application development on banking process automation.

Responsibilities:
• You will be responsible for application development focused on banking process automation. This includes designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that streamline and optimize the bank's operational workflows.
• Create efficient system architectures, and deliver applications that enhance productivity, reduce manual tasks, and improve overall process effectiveness
• Perform in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirement gathering and analysis, system design, development, testing, implementation and documentation
• You will provide supervision and coaching to developers, while also conducting quality assurance on development deliverables.
• Responsible for project planning, scheduling, and monitoring progress to ensure timely and successful project delivery
• Working closely with vendors, overseeing contracts and agreements, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the vendor engagement process.
• Monitor project risks and issues, implement mitigation strategies, and facilitate effective decision-making to drive project success.

Requirements:
• Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines.
• 5+ years’ hands-on experience in application / software development, previous experience in banking industry will be an advantage.
• Strong system development skills required, including C#, MS SQL, ASP.NET, jQuery, and CSS
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, mature, detail-minded, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Good command of both English, Cantonese and Mandarin
