SAP FICO Functional Consultant

Our client, one of Hong Kong's largest employers has an urgent need for SAP FICO Functional Consultants to join their latest project on a 12 months' renewable contract.

Key Responsibilities -
• Assess business, functional, and technical requirements; translate these into solutions and design documents.
• Recommend and coordinate process improvements within SAP environments related to FICO.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to bridge business stakeholders and deployment teams.
• Manage comprehensive FI & CO configurations and possess extensive hands-on experience in FI/CO reporting solutions aligned with customer needs.
• Familiarity with FI integration points with other SAP modules, including SD, MM, and PS.
• Knowledgeable in SAP modules such as New General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Project Systems, Cost Center Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting, with a good understanding of system integration with MM/SD, financial reporting (spending, profitability, and management), and banking.
• Support month-end and year-end activities in Finance/Controlling.
• Experience with interfaces, IDOC, finance custom posting programs, and reports in SAP (RICEFW).
• Previous experience in leading complex integration solutions, such as intercompany automation within SAP, along with other modules like MM and SD, and SAP finance closing automation.

Key Requirements -
• Experience in S4 HANA implementation, support, upgrade, and enhancement.
• Proven ability to identify improvements, conduct root cause analysis, and develop effective solutions.
• A collaborative team player with a willingness to learn and contribute in new areas like IRPA or ARIBA solutions (process automation in SAP) with a positive attitude.
• Previous experience leading a team of SAP FICO consultants is essential.
• Hands-on experience with various process automation initiatives within SAP FICO, capable of guiding discussions from conception to delivery.
• Proactively engage in direct discussions with clients regarding new initiatives.
• Educational qualifications in BCOM, BBA, MA, MBA, CA would be favorable
• Certifications in S4HANA 1809 or later would be an advantage.
