Trade Application support Assistant Manager/ AVP
Responsibility:
• Providing first-line application production support for the equity business, futures trading, mutual fund, virtual asset trading or operations, and being available outside office hours if needed
• Managing, resolving, and investigating production system issues with system vendors and following up on cases, with a focus on equity trading and futures systems
• Planning and executing internal testing for system upgrades, adhering to company standards and procedures.
• Assisting in user acceptance testing and executing system deployments
• Assisting in project management of application development projects
• Perform health checks and maintaining system stability and availability for local and global markets.
• Perform Incident and Change Management, provide the incident report to management.
• Providing phone or remote support during non-office hours if required
• Providing B2B application support
• Will supervise support team member
Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or related disciplines
• At least 3 years of experience in application support, preferably in the financial industry
• At least 1 years of experience in a first-line support role using Ayers/Sharp point or other OMS
• Have application/technical supervisor experience
• Working experience in brokerage or system vendor is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of equity/futures trading and settlement system functionality, operation flow, HKex, and global market connectivity (direct or indirect)
• Experience in dealing with end users and system vendors, problem-solving, and troubleshooting production issues
• Experience in system problem-solving skills on production issue handling and production deployment
• Exposure to other skills and application infrastructure, such as SQL query, FIX, Windows, Linux, VM Ware, backup, monitoring, and reporting
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Conversational level of Putonghua is required.
