Job Description
Conduct research on grant opportunities and assist in the development of grant proposals.
Assist in researching and identifying potential donors, sponsors, and partners for Agewhale's initiatives.
Support in the development of compelling fundraising campaigns and initiatives to engage donors and raise funds.
Create compelling fundraising materials and donor communications.
Assist in maintaining donor databases, tracking donations, and sending acknowledgment letters.
Skills
Currently pursuing a degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of fundraising principles and strategies.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese
Proactive and independent worker with the ability to take ownership of assigned tasks.
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Good computer skills including MS Office, Google Workspace.
Highly organized with good time management skills.
Ability to bring own laptop for the internship.
Strong interest in social issues related to the aging population and caregiving.
Passion for community service and making a positive social impact.
