Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Software Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in the development of software solutions for our state-of-the-art Binder Jetting large-scale 3D printer. This position involves designing, developing, and implementing software systems that enhance the functionality and efficiency of our 3D printing technology.
Responsibilities
• Design and Development: Create and maintain robust software applications that control and optimize the operations of our Binder Jetting 3D printers.
• Software Integration: Integrate software with hardware systems to ensure seamless functionality and high performance across all printing processes.
• Testing and Optimization: Conduct rigorous testing to identify bugs and ensure software reliability. Optimize existing software systems for improved performance and reduced downtime.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, material scientists, and product managers, to ensure alignment of software development with overall product objectives.
• Documentation: Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation to support software deployment and maintenance.
• Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends in 3D printing technology and incorporate new ideas and technologies into our software systems.
Required Skills And Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in software development, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar.
• Experience with software development for hardware systems, particularly in automation or robotics.
• Familiarity with the principles of Binder Jetting technology and 3D printing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable Skills
• Experience with CAD software and 3D modeling tools.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications in industrial settings.
• Prior experience in a 3D printing or additive manufacturing company.
