Principal Systems Analyst

Job Summary: Post Trade Application Team is responsible for the design, implementation and application support of HKEX's market systems.

Job Duties:
• Collaborate with different technical teams, vendors and business users for development, enhancement and production support of Post-Trade Systems.
• Carry out duties in system development life cycle, including system design, analysis, development, code review, documentation and other development support activities on Post-Trade Systems.
• Coordinate with other IT teams, business users and vendors for testing and system implementation.
• Provide production maintenance and support including preventive maintenance to production systems including regular patch management, security scanning, vulnerability risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
• Support other ad-hoc development and testing activities.
• Adhere to HKEX IT standards and guidelines of application development; conduct quality assurance review for complex software design and code changes.
Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines.
• Minimum 7 years' relevant experience.
• Knowledge and solid experience on AWS or equivalent Cloud platform, Kubernetes, containerized applications, Linux, Java, Springboot Java development framework, JSON, Oracle, Redis and MQ.
• Experience in OpenAPI and application security is preferred.
• Experience on using ForgeRock and SWIFT is an added value.
• Conversant with SDLC, DevOps, Internet Security and Agile.
• Experience with user coordination and vendor management.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
