Susquehanna is one of the largest ETF liquidity providers globally, and we have been leaders in the marketplace since the inception of the first ETFs over 20 years ago.

We are looking for an experienced, Japanese speaking, ETF Salesperson to join our team in the Hong Kong or Singapore office. As a client-facing member of our team, you will work directly with the team on all ongoing sales, service, and communication with clients, with a focus on Japanese market and clients.

What you’ll do
• Bring new and maintain existing relationships in the Japanese market
• Cover Japanese ETF accounts through managing communication between APAC sales as well as the trading desk
• Assist with customer side trading operations when required through liaising with Susquehanna Operations teams
• Develop new buy side relationships and identify areas for expansion within the Japanese market
• Initiate and manage client relationships in the Japanese institutional market place
• Research the market and work to strategically expand existing relationship into new trading businesses
• Arrange meetings with Japanese customer accounts and traders
• Find and attend relevant industry conferences
• Work closely with the APAC sales team to support the broader APAC business as needed

What we're looking for
• Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English is required
• 5+ years of experience in Capital Markets, preferably with a focus on ETFs
• Experience in Sales or Client/Broker Relationship management
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
• Demonstrated experience creating strong and positive relationships with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
• Thrive as a self-starter, enjoy learning and developing professionally.
• Ability to travel internationally for client meetings and conferences as needed
• Bachelor’s degree required, post graduate degree or equivalent preferred.
