IT Business Analyst – 1-year Contract (Private Banking)

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to join the team in the private banking sector. This 1-year contract position will involve collaborating with stakeholders to enhance the banking solutions and improve client services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives.
• Analyze current banking processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and proposing effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between IT and different business units, facilitating communication and ensuring stakeholder needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in project management activities, including planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking, to ensure timely delivery of IT solutions.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that developed solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, and training materials.
• Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services or banking industry.
• Strong understanding of private banking products and services is preferred.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
• Knowledge of banking software systems and tools is advantageous.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
