HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?
• Develop, organise, and coordinate effective travel trade events and activities in virtual and/or in-person formats. Analyse feedback and reports (e.g., industry update briefings, familiarisation visits, and business sessions) to promote and reinforce Hong Kong’s position as a premier MICE destination.
• Play a key role in developing and identifying new and unique products and group experiences in Hong Kong for MICE groups.
• Assist in planning and implementing hospitality programs to enhance the travel experience of MICE groups in Hong Kong.
• Contribute to the development of proposals and communication strategies with Hong Kong travel partners to secure new and high-profile MICE events for Hong Kong.
• Maintain excellent relationships with Hong Kong MICE partners, supporting them in delivering effective cooperative programs and tactical campaigns to attract more MICE groups to Hong Kong.
• Handle inquiries from event organisers and planners on products and marketing support in a professional and efficient manner.
• Provide administrative support for the team, including database management, handling funding reimbursements, internal/external reporting, etc.
• Undertake any other duties or special assignments as directed by the Manager.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
• University graduate with minimum 5 years’ experience, preferably in tourism and travel trade industry (e.g. PCO, DMC, hotel, MICE venue and event management company) / event-related operations
• Sound knowledge of Hong Kong as a tourism destination and world MICE tourism industry; working with Government Department will be an advantage
• Strong presentation and communication skills, critical thinking and project management skills
• Highly organised, detail-minded, responsible and able to work independently and exercise good judgements
• Excellent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Proficiency in PC applications - MS Office applications (esp. MS Excel and MS PowerPoint), Chinese Word Processing
• Immediate available is preferred
