We are seeking a motivated SEO and Automation Intern to join our team and help improve our platform's visibility, streamline our property listing and translation processes, and drive growth in the competitive real estate market.
Role OverviewAs an SEO and Automation Intern, you will work closely with our marketing and technical teams to enhance PropBidHK’s search engine optimization and automate key workflows, including property listings and translations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital marketing, automation tools, and process optimization. You will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our platform's performance and user experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesSearch Engine Optimization (SEO):
Conduct keyword research to identify high-impact keywords for the property auction industry.
Optimize website content (e.g., property listings, blog posts, meta descriptions, and landing pages) to improve organic search rankings.
Monitor and report on SEO performance, including traffic, rankings, and conversions.
Collaborate with the content team to ensure all content aligns with SEO best practices.
Stay updated on the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates.
Property Listing & Translation Process Improvement:
Analyze the current property listing and translation workflows to identify inefficiencies.
Develop and implement automation tools or scripts to streamline the property listing process.
Work with external translation tools or APIs to automate and improve multilingual property descriptions (e.g., English ↔ Chinese).
Ensure the accuracy and consistency of translated content across languages.
Automation & Workflow Optimization:
Research and implement automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Python scripts, or other workflow integrations) to reduce manual tasks.
Assist in setting up automated reporting for SEO and platform performance metrics.
Collaborate with the tech team to integrate automation solutions into the PropBidHK platform.
Data Analysis & Insights:
Analyze user behavior data to identify trends and opportunities for improving the user experience.
Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs) to generate actionable insights for SEO and process improvements.
Provide regular reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles.
Understanding of automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Python, or relevant APIs).
Languages: Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Passion for real estate, technology, and digital marketing.
Hands-on experience in SEO and process automation for a fast-growing prop-tech platform.
