Job Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Educator to deliver high-quality workshops on our Level 4 Data Analyst programme. This is a remote role with varied working hours, primarily between 08:30 - 17:30 HKT. The successful candidate will be based in Asia Pacific and will be responsible for teaching our learning content to groups of adult learners via virtual workshops.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach Data Analysis concepts to groups of APAC-based adult learners via virtual workshops
• Hone your skills as an educator and build your knowledge of andragogy and teaching theory
• Work with Learner Success Coaches to ensure learners progress through the programme
Workshop Preparation and Delivery
• Review exercises and other learning materials before a session
• Learn about your learners and the businesses they work for
• Familiarise yourself with the course structure and content, proactively filling gaps in your knowledge
• Deliver a 10/10 learning experience in each workshop
Requirements
• Experience teaching, coaching, or tutoring in a related subject (Maths, Physics, Data Science)
• Confident in Python programming
• Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
Performance Metrics
• Enable learners to apply data analysis techniques to their professional environment
• Identify work activities that will allow learners to demonstrate the competencies required in the apprenticeship standard
• Deliver regular high-quality learning engagements with learners
Reporting Structure and Payment
This role will report to the Product Resource Manager, working closely with the LSC and receiving support from Decoded's full-time UK Product Team. You will be set an hourly rate based on your experience and will invoice Decoded Monthly for payment.
