Manager (System Accounting)

Job Descriptions:
• Participate in designing, developing and testing application systems to support treasury accounting, insurance accounting, and financial forecast;
• Design and construct ad hoc data analysis and reporting;
• Support system administration tasks for internal systems and on-line banking;
• Assist to implement new systems and processes, undertake business process reengineering initiatives, and maintain procedural manuals; and
• The employment will be on a 1-year contract term, subject to renewal.

Requirements:
• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related discipline. Candidates with dual degree in Accounting/Finance and IT would be an advantage;
• A minimum of 5 years of business analyst experience in finance industry or related discipline would be preferred;
• Solid knowledge in banking/insurance products, system development cycle and UAT would be an advantage;
• Proficient in computer operation with knowledge of building financial model (e.g. VBA) considered an added advantage;
• Self-motivated, proactive working attitude, eager to learn and willing to take up new responsibilities; and
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Deputy Manager.
