Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deploy machine learning models that solve complex business problems and drive business growth.
• Influence the AI roadmap of the largest P&C insurer in Canada and contribute to the development of industry-leading AI solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI and apply them to real-world problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data science, software engineering, actuarial science, and business, to drive business outcomes.
• Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and contribute to the growth and development of the team.
What You'll Bring:
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, such as mathematics, science, engineering, statistics, AI, computer science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and advanced statistics solving business problems.
• Programming experience in languages such as Python or R, as well as knowledge of software engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with machine learning theory, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
• Strong communication, time management, and work organization skills.
• Unlimited curiosity and a passion for challenging the status quo.

• A competitive salary of approximately $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
