Background
As our Assistant UI/UX Manager, you will assist the team lead of the Creative Team, contributing to the strategic direction of the team and overseeing the execution of multiple projects for our clients. Also, you love to share your knowledge and experiences to coach and mentor your subordinates.
Responsibilities
• Assist the team lead in managing daily operations and overseeing team resource allocation as his/her deputy.
• Provide art direction and mentorship to junior designers, ensure consistency and adherence to design standards.
• Analyze client business needs and translate them into effective design strategies.
• Present proposed solutions to the clients, including UI/UX mockups, and design concepts.
• Contribute to the development of design strategies that align with clients’ requirements and company’s objectives.
• Oversee the end-to-end design process, from UX research to final delivery, ensuring projects meet quality, timeline, and budget requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including account servicing, project management, and development, to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies to drive innovation.
Requirements
• Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Web Design, Interactive Media or equivalent discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in UI/UX design with proven leadership capabilities.
• Significant knowledge and outstanding experiences in website and mobile app design with a demonstrated portfolio.
• In-depth knowledge of user-centered design principles, with experience in UX research (e.g., user interviews, workshops, usability testing).
• Familiarity with Design Thinking methodologies.
• Fluency of relevant industry tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
• Excellent presentation, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills.
