Responsibilities:
Provide technical guidance to teammates and provide technical support to customers
Work as an IT Infrastructure Subject Matter Lv2/3 Engineer to solve different IT infrastructure issues
Act as an escalation point for other team members on IT infrastructure issues
Monitor customer's infrastructure and proactively implement preventive measures to prevent issues/problems from occurring
Collaborate with the Help Desk Team Leader to provide first-class service to our customers in a timely and professional manner
Keep IT managers and help desk informed about the status of current and outstanding tasks, escalating when tasks are taking longer than expected
Check meeting room facilities every morning
Requirements:
Diploma or above in Information Technology, Software Engineering or related fields
Minimum 3 years' experience in a technology support role for Senior role
Candidates with less experience will be considered Engineers (IT Services)
Experience in a service provider environment is a plus
Those with MCSE/MCITP, Microsoft MS/AZ, VCAP, VCP, CISSP, CISA and other certificates are preferred
Key Skills:
Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin preferred)
Solid and extensive experience in multi-site infrastructure deployments
Solid and strong hands-on experience in IT infrastructure including servers, storage, data backup, replication, networking, UPS, etc.
Strong troubleshooting skills
Knowledge in Microsoft desktop / Office 365 / Azure platforms
