Cybersecurity Engineer/ Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Hong Kong Internet Registration CORPORATION Limited (HKIRC), a non-profit making and non-statutory corporation responsible for the overall administration of “.hk” domain names in Hong Kong. HKIRC is also responsible for the on-going liaison with local and international bodies on issues relating to the development and administration of Internet domain name systems. We are looking for highly motivated and independent candidates for the position of:
• Conduct research to evaluate emerging cybersecurity threats and maintain an up-to-date understanding of the latest attacks, vulnerabilities, mitigation, industry best practices and regulations;
• Evaluate website vulnerabilities utilizing automated security scanning tools or external vendor scanning services;
• Project coordination and clerical support for the events & seminars
• Prepare service reports for customer and internal parties, meeting with customers to provide security advices
• Promote cybersecurity awareness to customers (seminars & events)

Requirements
• Degree holder in Computer Science or related IT discipline
• 1-2 years IT experiences. Aiming for a career in Cyber Security.
• Solid understanding of web application security and system security
• Knowledge in project execution - vulnerability assessment, penetration test, scanning, analysis, review and reporting would be advantage
• Customer-oriented, good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills; able to communicate technical issues to both technical and layman stakeholders
• Committed, proactive, assertive and positive with a can-do attitude
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
