What is Obinex?

Obinex is a Pre-Seed stage Startup on a mission to develop a simple ecosystem to facilitate the adoption of the centralized economy in the decentralized space and give way to a more secure centralization. As we are in a very early stage, the equity offering is the only part of the conversation until we are funded. This will be subject to a probationary and vesting period.

What will you do?

As the Head of IT in a FinTech Pre-Seed startup, you will lead the development and implementation of IT and blockchain strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals. You will oversee system architecture, manage projects, and ensure robust security and compliance. Leading and mentoring a technical team, you'll drive innovation and operational support while managing budgets and vendor relationships.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the IT and blockchain strategy aligned with the startup’s business goals.
• Technology Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms for blockchain and IT infrastructure.
• System Architecture: Design and oversee the architecture of blockchain systems and IT infrastructure.
• Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a team of IT and blockchain professionals.
• Project Management: Manage IT and blockchain projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Security Management: Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect data and systems.
• Compliance: Ensure all IT and blockchain systems comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
• Innovation: Drive innovation by exploring and integrating emerging technologies within the startup.
• Operational Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT and blockchain systems.
• Budgeting: Develop and manage the IT and blockchain budget, optimizing costs while ensuring quality.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate IT and blockchain strategies, progress, and challenges to stakeholders.

What will you bring?
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Blockchain technologies, IT infrastructure, software development and proven skills designing a CEX platform and a Blockchain architectures.
• Experience: Several years of experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in FinTech or startup environments.
• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams effectively.
• Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience in agile methodologies.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to align technology strategies with business objectives.
• Security Knowledge: Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Budget Management: Experience in budgeting and financial planning for IT projects.
• Innovative Mindset: Ability to drive innovation and stay current with emerging technologies.

Equity: Until we are funded, we are offering ESOPs only as compensation. This will be subject to a trial and vesting period.

Salary: We are in the early stages of our journey, therefore remuneration in the form of Salary will be considered only once we are funded.
