Reporting of the role
This role will report to the Head of SEO.

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:
• Become familiar with organizational processes
• Take ownership of existing SEO projects
• Build relationships with key stakeholders within the WPP agencies
In six months:
• Deliver growth and establish Agency target revenue.
• Establish close teamwork and collaboration within platform business team
• Support the Head of SEO to run and deliver an SEO strategy and update on the project planning to ensure smooth workflow.
• Understand metrics and KPIs and continually suggest optimizations to improve performance.
• Guide and mentor clients and team members on adopting data-driven organization and industry best practices
In 12 months:
• Retention and growth of Agency SEO business and revenue target.
• Development of client training/workshop proposition to include: creds, sales collateral and training materials.
What your day job looks like at GroupM:
The appointee will be responsible for the effective delivery of client SEO services either directly, or by contributing to projects managed by other team members. There may also be communication with other GroupM offices and external vendors. Working closely with internal teams and directly with clients to ensure seamless campaign plan development, execution and delivery.
Agency Partner
• To ensure delivery of existing business and maintain quality and satisfaction.
• To identify and build relationships with key stakeholders within the agencies.
• To support and encourage new business to meet agency targets.
• Oversee SEO campaigns which encompass all audit, optimization and reporting workstream that concern the technical setup and content of our client websites.
• To be an evangelist for complete SEO offering within the agencies and to increase staff competencies for effective delivery.
Specialist Area
• To be a knowledge owner for analytics and actively develop and share this knowledge with the team as well as provide / lead delivery.
• Experience in Multi Project Planning and Management to create and support SEO marketing plans and communicate timelines, process updates, roadblocks etc. on regular basis to the team.
Sales & Operations
• Refine sales proposition and supporting processes for delivery.
• Train, manage, mentor and develop direct reports to be successful in their role and grow in their careers.
• Identification of upsell and cross-sell opportunities with agency offerings.
• Work with the Head of SEO to create sales proposals and support RFPs with tangible data references, where appropriate.
What you'll bring:
• Minimum of 7 yrs. of core SEO experience
• Understand Google search engine ranking algorithm and audit the website to discover the opportunity to improve the website ranking in search result
• At least 5 years of strategic/ client relationship experience in an agency
• Actively pursues excellence while driving for efficiency
• Continuously drive improvement in the implementation of new creative ideas, identify new trends and turn them into actionable insights of performance optimization
• Sees the big picture, yet pays attention to detail and takes pride in accuracy.
• A strong problem-solving mindset driven by curiosity.
• A keen learner who's willing to coach, to train and to educate.
• A good mix of traits as a team player and as an individual contributor - and as a project lead, you should be ready to dive in and get hands-on as the situation requires.
• Experiences working on regional that support multiple languages - it would be a plus if you speak any APAC languages.
• Any kind of expertise in any of the following areas would be preferable:
• Conversion Optimisation (CRO/LPO)
• Exhibit advanced grasp on JavaScript, CSS and HTML put together and their impact on page performance and content delivery.
• Adapt with API use and curious about data.
• Well-experienced with Omniture/Google Analytics set-up and configuration.
