Web Developer for Fintech Company

Kody, a rapidly growing fintech firm specializing in online payments and financial services for brick-and-mortar businesses, is seeking an experienced web developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in TypeScript and Angular, as well as experience with frontend technologies like Ionic.
The Role

This role offers the opportunity to develop and maintain various web applications, including desktop and mobile apps, used by customers to manage their businesses and make online payments. We are actively expanding our financial services and data analytics capabilities, creating new products that will be exciting and unique to work on.

We are looking for a team player with strong problem-solving skills who can collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers. The ideal candidate will be proactive in achieving company goals and have a keen eye for detail when it comes to design and user experience.
Responsibilities
• Create responsive, performant, and reusable UI components
• Collaborate with Design and Product teams to prioritize features
• Write automated tests (unit and end-to-end)
• Assist with bug fixing and performance enhancements across multiple products
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in tech
• Contribute to application design and architecture
• Participate in code reviews

Requirements
• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript
• A thorough understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of APIs and communication with external or backend services
• Understanding of unit testing
• Ability to debug coding issues
• A keen eye for detail with regards to design and UX
• Experience with version control systems (we use GitHub)
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
• Working knowledge of NgRx or other state management libraries would be beneficial
