About the team:

South China Morning Post (SCMP) is looking for a freelance writer to produce content for STYLE magazine, digital and social media.

STYLE magazine is the city’s best monthly guide to the world of luxury living globally, and at home. A youthful, sophisticated, tasteful collection of in-depth features and insightful stories for those who appreciate intelligent luxury.

STYLE's website is the South China Morning Post's dedicated portal to the world of luxury, the definitive guide to influence and wealth-oriented stories in Asia and around the world building a community of global readers for instant access to the world of modern luxury in Asia.

In this role, you will:
• Write four online articles per day on topics ranging from celebrities to fashion and entertainment
• Meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Using SEO best practices to optimise content for search engines
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments
• Managing your own workload and prioritising tasks effectively
• Adhering to project guidelines and client specifications
• Maintaining a professional and positive attitude at all times

Skills and Experience that will lead to success:
• SEO best practices and Google Analytics knowledge a must
• Fluent in English and perfect command of the language
• Interest in pop culture and entertainment a plus
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong research skills
• Ability to work independently

Work location will be at Causeway Bay office or remote.
