Lead Level
Location: Hong Kong
Prior Experience in SaaS/ Software Industry is preferred
Language: Business-level fluency in English and fluent in Chinese
Role
You'll join a dynamic team of 50 engineers, product managers, and UI/UX designers. You’ll collaborate with engineering management to drive roadmaps, strategic initiatives, and AI projects to level up platform scalability and AI capabilities. While influencing high-level direction, you’ll remain deeply engaged in hands-on problem-solving, tackling complex challenges that push the boundaries of our systems.
Responsibilities
• You will work with CTO and CPO to shape business and technology strategy and roadmap.
• You will lead the design and execution of the AI infrastructure that powers multiple lines of business.
• You will drive architectural decisions and implementation across the engineering teams.
• You will lead the team to scale existing systems as well as building out brand new tools and infrastructure.
• You will coach and mentor engineers and establish a culture of customer first, innovation, and engineering excellence.
• You will define the bar for quality and efficiency of software systems while balancing meeting immediate customer needs and building solid technical foundations.
Qualifications
• Degree in Computer Science, Maths or any other relevant degrees
• 8+ years of work experience in microservice architecture, Kubernetes, and distributed systems and database
• 8+ Experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript)
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or other equivalents
• Be flexible and grow and learn quickly in a startup environment
• A strong team player with a keen eye for detail and a passion for our products; Attitude is the single most important attribute our team values
• Executive-level interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills
