Responsibilities:
Responsible for the quality assurance of internal tests, User Acceptance Test (UAT), Regression Tests, etc
Quickly grasp the essence and core concepts of the business needs and flows, as well as system functions and features to facilitate testing activities
Prepare test strategies and test cases/plans to fulfill testing requirements, and execute related testing, including functional, regression, system integration, and ad hoc testing
Analyze and manage test results, continuously monitor project modules and be responsible for project quality
Report, track and resolve any problems/issues during the testing process and prepare the defect/summary reports and verify any fixed issues
Lead (or assist to lead) on-site / off-site test teams and end users through testing activities
Continuously improve test efficiency and quality with new technologies and methodologies including the use of automation test scripts
Manage (or assist to manage) local Malaysia team for day-to-day operations and responsible for (or assist in) people management
Perform ad-hoc research & analysis and present results in a clear manner
Requirements:
At least 7 years of experience in software QA, mobile & Web application testing. Experienced in leading test teams preferred.
Good understanding for Software Development process, software testing types, techniques, tools, procedure and QA methodologies as well as familiarity with JIRA
Relevant working experience in innovation mobile app, Fintech or financial industry is preferred
Hands-on manual testing experience is a must. Experience in automated testing tools and framework is an advantage.
Good time management; self-motivated and well organized with the ability to work multitask and under pressure
Strong sense of responsibility and a good team player
Attention to details and meticulous thinking is needed to ensure the quality of work
Strong analytical skills and effective communication and presentation skills
Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Candidate with less experience will be considered as QA Analyst
