SALES & ACCOUNT MANAGER
APAC HQ - Hong Kong

Marvelsoft is headquartered in Hong Kong and we are currently hiring a Sales & Account Manager. This role spans the entire lifecycle of prospecting, new client onboarding and business management of the existing client account; from initial contact, qualification of a prospect’s requirements, through creating a technical proposal and finalisation of the sales process to performing post-sale activities, such as handling of any new feature requests raised by the client.
Responsibilities
• Supporting the business development throughout the sales cycle
• Developing an understanding of the products & related infrastructure needs of a wide range of clients and prospects
• Assessing competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities
• Developing sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations
• Developing & maintaining sales documentation and presentations
• Internal validation & tracking of projects
• Meeting the set sales KPI targets
• Continuing to develop current relationships through working with our customer support team and maintaining contact
• Continuously growing technical product knowledge and understanding of global financial markets while developing sales skills
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience/certification, ideally in finance or computer science
• Excellent spoken & written English (knowledge of Mandarin is a great plus)
• Passion for technology and finance
• Desire to learn, seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities
• Organised with good time management
• Responsive with good communication skills working in a multicultural environment
• Resourceful and self-reliant with good critical thinking and problem solving
