Key responsibilities:
· Lead the strategic direction and design for the data and analytics data models, ensuring that data models is holistically designed across the new solution aligning to overall CLP data models
· Responsible for creating, documenting, maintaining and driving the understanding of data models and technical standards
· Work with SI to define conceptual data model, logical data model and physical data model for all project in-scope solutions
· Ensure consistent language of data is used across projects aligning with the enterprise data catalogue
· Developing efficient architecture principles to determine single source of truth for key data asset domains across source systems, operational data stores, and analytics data stores and
· Defining architecture standards and guidelines; creating documents, maintaining, and driving the understanding of data models and technical standards
· Contributing to data governance by co-authoring and maintaining data policies, procedures, standards
· Advising on best practices in data modelling, architecture, and governance to ensure consistent use and management of data
· Work closely with Function and Technical Teams with the support from Senior Data Architects in Digital team on data mapping, conversion and migration activities
Requirements:
· Prior proven experience in creating, communicating, and implementing scalable enterprise data models
· Experience in Master Data Management, Data Warehouses, Data Governance, Data Analytics, data modelling (e.g., Navicat, ER/Studio or Erwin), Database Modelling
· Experience in ERP / Azure cloud platforms and technology
· Experience in the energy sector or other asset-intensive industries’ standard data models (e.g., IEC CIM) an advantage
Technical / Functional Competencies:
· Good communication and organizational skills
· Multitasking skills and task management strategies
· Able to adapt and work with colleagues from different functions with different business needs
· Able to compile and organize statistical information retrieved and present findings to stakeholders and management
