The Senior IT Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, server and database management, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities:Infrastructure Development: Create, implement, and oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, networks, and cloud services.
System Monitoring: Continuously monitor and maintain system performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other IT professionals and departments to enhance business operations and support various projects.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services and products while assessing vendor performance.
Project Leadership: Lead IT infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
Minimum of 5 years in managing enterprise IT infrastructure.
Strong understanding of network architecture, server administration (e.g., Windows), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google).
Experience in business continuity planning and disaster recovery operations.
Proficiency in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with automation and scripting tools (e.g., Power Automate, PowerShell, Python).
Familiarity with Google, AWS, or other cloud services, including monitoring, is a plus.
Strong communication skills in of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
