Responsibilities
• Propose and develop solutions to modernize legacy tools using technologies e.g. Java, C#
• Assist the IT development team in various technical modernization and decommissioning project
• Investigate, identify and resolve incidents and problems
• Collaborate with other IT development and infrastructure teams to ensure the stability of production
• Monitor application and chain health. Build monitoring using external tools and develop in-house monitoring tool
• Take initiatives to reduce the operational risks and improve efficiency of day-to-day production
Required
Profile required
• Studying towards a relevant bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering or similar majors
• Have good knowledge on Unix and SQL
• Capable to understand and code with programming languages (e.g. Java, C#)
• Willing to learn, able to learn quickly
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Have positive mindset and work as a team player
• Fluent in English is mandatory
This is a 3-month full-time internship with Societe Generale in Hong Kong whereby you will work within one business line / support function for the period. In order to apply for an internship opportunity with us, please ensure you are currently studying towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree and that you are available for the 3-month period on a full-time basis.
