As the Manager/Senior Manager, R&D Solution Architect, you will oversee the development of various innovative applications & technologies, defining the overall target, structuring the big picture, and formulating technical R&D roadmap. This is a technical role at the strategic level, covers design and formulation of platform architecture, system architecture, and infrastructure architecture.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with business stakeholders and translate scenario requirements into technical specifications and blueprints.
• Identify and recommend technical roadmaps and solutions, plan and formulate the R&D framework and architecture.
• Coordinate the implementation plan and ensure timely project delivery meeting agreed standards.
• Use diagram tools and quantitative methods to visualize on research and development progress, present findings, and bridge the gap between R&D sides and end-users.
• Perform data modeling and participate in algorithm design discussion to ensure a suitable technical roadmap design for project delivery.
• Lead other data scientists and engineers on the discussion in exploring suitable solutions per client’s specific requirement, validate the solution, quality check deliverables.
• Research and share the latest technology trends to support innovative technological research and development initiatives.
• Collaborate with other R&D team members and product managers to better understand use case scenarios.
• Work with 3rd party vendors and infrastructure project teams to conduct high-level project planning and design overall technical development framework.
Qualifications
• A Master’s degree in science, engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field is beneficial as a strong foundation for the role of a senior product manager.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in product development, with at least 5 years in solution architecture or a similar role.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing complex application/system architectures, with a proven track record of developing the roadmap for projects involving the use of innovation technical solutions.
• Proficiency in data science, quantitative modeling, product development and management a plus.
• Experience in training and deploying AI and machine learning systems a must.
• Strong knowledge of modern technical stacks including major programming languages, AI and ML frameworks, database and cloud platforms etc.
