Job Description: Details of the Division and Team: The Operations Manager will be responsible for smooth running of Trade Finance at Hong Kong. Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices. Take responsibility for transaction processing with offshore operations team and follow-ups to ensure the transactions are completed within SLA. Managing trade processing and EOD operations Work closely with internal stakeholders including offshore operations team, Product Management, Trade Service, Sales in processing new deals and new initiatives of the Bank. Comply all internal and external policies/guidelines and requirements of the regulators and to agreed SLAs, KRIs and/or KPIs. Identify and escalate any operational, regulatory, and other risks to line manager in timely manner. Responsible to approve transactions based on the defined authority level. Responsible for regulatory reporting and internal/external audit Manage BCM process and sign-off the related documents. Ensure continuous process efficiency and performance improvement. Participating/Leading in project in Operations and Cooperating in any IT/System project upon request. Challenges and seeks alternative means to reduce cost & mitigate risk. Train junior staffs and provide guidance on daily transactions. Your skills and experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience including at least 5 years of experience Trade Finance Operations Experienced in leading a team is a must. Strong organizational skills and attention to details are required. Confident and enjoy working in a performance driven culture. Good communication skills both verbal and written in English. Good interpersonal skills and a communication skill. A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace Excels at operating in fast-paced environment. Project management skill will be advantageous.
