(Senior) Systems Analyst - Finance & HR Systems - IT - 12-month contract

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic IT professional to join our Finance & HR Systems team as a (Senior) Systems Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation and production support of our corporate systems, following the system development life cycle.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities:
• Carry out duties within the system development life cycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing and production deployment, in accordance with IT development standards, guidelines and company-wide policies
• Coordinate with vendors to provide timely and effective BAU system support and address any security vulnerabilities
• Liaise with teams across IT division, business users and external vendors to facilitate smooth collaboration and communication
• Perform quality reviews on technical designs, code changes and deliverables
• Adhere to standards and guidelines on application development throughout the development life cycle

Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years of IT work experience in system development and support for both package and in-house developed systems
• Extensive hands-on development experience using Java, JavaScript and Microsoft development framework & tools such as SQL Server and .NET programming
• Knowledge on RHEL and Microsoft Windows platform
• Proficiency in SDLC methodology and documentation
• Good understanding of cyber security and technology risks
• Strong business domain knowledge on corporate functions such as Finance, Treasury, Procurement and HR would be an added advantage
• Knowledge on Oracle EBS & Hyperion would be an added advantage
• Experience in cloud platform setup, implementation & administration is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
