ERM seeks an exceptional individual to join as a Consulting Senior Associate in our Capital Project' International Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Team, preferably based in Hong Kong. The role will support our Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Projects led by the Hong Kong office throughout the world, with a focus on social and human rights services where appropriate.
SCOPE:
In this role, you will be part of a team tasked to contribute to the development and growth of ERM’s Capital Project Delivery business. Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, energetic and good communicators who are comfortable working in active teams tackling rewarding challenges.
You must have a passion for social and environmental issues and sustainability, with a particular interest in social, human rights and public health services. You must be a persuasive communicator (both verbal and written), with a good understanding of different cultures and an ability to speak different languages being beneficial. You will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of projects in a variety of sectors delivering sustainable solutions to clients.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Candidates must have a postgraduate qualification in a social and/or public health related discipline;
• Possess a good understanding of the whole cycle of Impact Assessment, including experience of baseline data collection, impact assessment reporting, and/or implementation of mitigation measures;
• A strong ability to converse and write accurately in English, particularly for report writing, is a fundamental requirement;
• 1-3 years of experience in an international consultancy firm or socio-economic survey/analysis/monitoring and/or public health service focused non-governmental organization would be an advantage;
• Knowledge and experience in international standards such as those promoted by the World Bank, IFC, ADB, AIIB, and Equator Principal Banks, particularly around IFC PS6, would be an asset;
• Ability to drive execution, multi-task, learn quickly and think strategically;
• Ability to maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision;
• Tagalog (and experience working in Philippines), Mandarin or other languages will be considered an asset; and
• The candidate would preferably be based in Hong Kong
