CNN Create, the in-house brand studio of CNNIC, is looking for a talented Senior Design expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in motion graphics, visual effects, and digital design with a focus on creating dynamic visuals to support storytelling for live-action films and digital platforms
Your Role Accountabilities
• Collaborate with editors, film directors, and other team members to provide motion graphics animation and moderate VFX support.
• Design and develop creative assets such as mood boards, style frames, prototypes, and storyboards to support campaign visuals.
• Work on standalone motion graphics projects, animated typography, and 2D animation, with attention to brand consistency and creative vision.
• Translate creative briefs into effective visual designs that resonate with audience insights and meet project timelines.
• Contribute to the creation of user interface (UI) designs or data visualization as part of cross-functional projects.
• Prepare graphic and motion design assets for development and ensure proper handoff to editors and developers.
• Maintain consistency with CNN brand standards across various digital touchpoints.
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to deliver graphics and animations for promotions.
Qualifications & Experience
• 5+ Years of experience in a media brand studio, creative agency, or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in motion graphics, animation, and digital design.
• Up-to-date with current design trends, audience engagement strategies, and best practices in motion graphics and digital design.
• Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment while being self-motivated in handling individual tasks.
• Fluent in English.
Software Knowledge
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe AfterEffects, Photoshop, Illustrator any
• other related graphics software.
• Excellent knowledge of Figma and basic understanding of front-end coding.
• Moderate knowledge of Mocha Pro, Premiere, Cinema 4D.
• Excellent understanding of social platforms.
• Moderate knowledge of Powerpoint.
